New videos up for summer, 2011, music and weather dominate

WATKINS GLEN, New York, USA - *subject2change Media shot lots of footage and even published a few more videos in local newspapers during the summer months.

The biggest score was having the Elmira Star-Gazette pick up this video for publication on its website. It was a spot news piece.

Another video was a real learning experience, trying to shoot a musician - Delta Mike Shaw - and a band while performing at a wine event called Winestock 2011.
Mike Shaw

The lighting was bad, the acoustics almost as bad.

And the band? They were all great.

But to get good sound quality *subject2change Media is going to have to study up and perhaps gets some better sound recording equipment before the next musical gig.

And lighting is an issue, too. Perhaps in addition to a new computer for movie editing, some lights are in order.

Here's what did come out of the shoot at Winestock:

Another music video turned out better, an on the spot of Hayley Jane and the Primates. They played at a benefit for Team Reckless Abandon, part of car rally/race across Asia to raise money for charity, in which Hector resident Kathleen Schamel is participating.

Perhaps news photography and feature spot video come off easier.
