Video and story about U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand posted

WATKINS GLEN, New York, USA - A second video (produced by *subject2change Media) has been posted by the Watkins Glen Review & Express and The Observer newspapers.

This time it was a fish-in-a-barrel shoot of a Democratic U.S. Senator visiting a local elementary school to see how well $170,000 in federal money is being spent to teach middle school kids about how to use new technologies, like the internet and wireless devices.

Most of the kids are way ahead of the adults in this case. But some aren't. And that's what the grant was all about.

But it was a pleasant event, with 25 or so local dignitaries on site, all wanting to shake the senator's hand.

And the senator? She seems genuinely more pleasant than most national-level politicians and very low key.

She arrived in the car to the right. Yes, it's a Volkswagen.

And unlike her California senatorial counterparts, (whom I am more used to writing about), Sen. Gillibrand travels with a handful of staff - and no giant security apes with earphones and packing automatic pistols.

Here's a link to the story and video:
